Our Mission:

RaptureFocus.com has the primary goal of pointing people to Jesus Christ, Savior of mankind. He is the only hope for us in this ever-darkening world. We aim at keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus and His promises by having open conversations about Him and His scripture, and by offering everyday practical products for you that also accomplish this goal.

Did you know that more than 1/3 of the Holy Bible is prophecy? It is said that the Bible was written by many authors across thousands of years. And what ties all those different voices together across all that time? It is the One who inspired them to write the Words down in the first place, God Himself… the very God who attracted you to Himself!

Although we find ourselves locked inside a forward-moving timeline, God is outside of time, and He can therefore offer a validation that He is higher than man, in fact, mankind’s very Creator. “Behold, the former things have come to pass, and new things I now declare; before they spring forth I tell you of them.” Isaiah 42:9 God says that He tells us what’s to come long before it happens in our timeline. What human can accurately predict the future across thousands of years? None can, but the Bible has done exactly that over and over again(1).

Why does this matter, shouldn’t we just focus on loving one another and that’s enough? Here’s why prophecy matters: Jesus clearly commanded His followers to watch and pray for His return. He said this before He had even left, so He was saying “Listen! This is Important!”.  “Watch therefore, and pray always, that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that are coming, and to stand before the Son of man.” Luke 21:36

What did Jesus want us to pray to escape? It is the Great Tribulation that He was warning of, and that He wishes to rescue us out of(2). The Bible is clear that wrath is not appointed for the Church. “God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ” 1 Thessalonians 5:9. This “wrath” is not the wrath we have always faced from our fellow mankind, but the very wrath of God which will only be poured out during the Great Tribulation of the last days. Many many scriptures speak of escaping and standing before Jesus to be revealed in glory. This is not to be confused with the event of the second coming, which happens at the end of the great seven year tribulation, just before a one thousand year peaceful reign with Jesus on the throne.

The Bible clearly demonstrates that what it calls salvation from wrath happens at the point of the rapture, which is the moment when all believers in Jesus are given new and glorified bodies, whether they died thousands of years ago or are still living on the face of the earth at the point that Jesus returns for us and sounds His trumpet. We are told that after that glorious moment, we will never ever leave His side, for all eternity. We will be with our King of Kings forever, can you imagine how that will feel? Oh Come Lord Jesus!

This event just described is called “Our Blessed Hope”  “While we wait for our blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ.” Titus 2:13 This Blessed Hope is the point of light on the horizon at which RaptureFocus.com is ever directed.
